Lorries and other large vehicles drive from main roads through Church Road, Murston, Sittingbourne in the belief they can get through to the industrial estate. Once they discover they cannot, they are forced to turn round which, on the thin roads, often causes damage to residents' property and is a great danger to pedestrians.
Councillor Dave Banks has been an ardent campaigner for better signage on the main roads to warn drivers that there is no through way and of an alternative route. He has the backing of local residents, schools and businesses. However the county council continue to drag their heels.
Please help Dave in his campaign to make the streets safer for Murston's residents. Sign this petition and help us lobby Kent County Council.
