Lib Dems Bid to Save budget cuts

Lib Dems call on the ruling group in Swale to switch resources as this year's budget was all about funnelling funds into the corporate centre at the expense of FRONTLINE services for the people of Swale.
Lib Dem group leader, Elvie Lowe, proposed that £¼ million be switch back from the centre into service delivery including reinstating the proposed cuts. This proposal was narrowly defeated.
Elvie says, "When residents are expected to pay a large increase in their Council Tax then at least they should expect to see their hard earned cash go into the services they receive."
