Cut Crime Campaign Comes To Sittingbourne

"We Can Cut Crime" was the message for several Lib Dem campaigners who turned out to promote their anti-crime message in Sittingbourne High Street on Saturday.
The campaign is calling for effective action to take back our neighbourhoods and town centres. Other priorities include putting more police on patrol and making prison work. As part of the campaign, local Lib Dems will be carrying out a major crime survey in our area. A "We can cut crime" petition has also been launched.
Local campaigner Nick Williams said, "We want to hear local people's experiences with crime and their ideas on how to make our community safer."
